EMbody Health Acupuncture

What We Offer

EMbody Health Acupuncture, PLLC offers both acupuncture and/or EM, a definitive, additional, complimentary type of energy work to acupuncture. Acupuncture can be viewed as a type of “energy work” as well. EM is Energy or qi movement based on principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). EM was developed by Ethan Borg MAOM LAc, who has become famous in the Rochester, NY area and abroad for his success helping people diagnosed with a myriad of chronic and debilitating conditions, including chronic lyme disease, MS, autism and cancer. EM is new, yet has its roots deep in knowledge from ancient Chinese texts. One day Ethan’s EM School texts will be seen as the next milestone, more than 2,000 years later, in a long history of a miraculous mode of Chinese theory-based work that helps the body heal itself. I have had the privilege of being one of Ethan’s first students, after his work cleared my entire family of chronic lyme disease, after more than 4 years of illness.

What is "EM"?

EM is “energy work” that directs qi, universal qi, or a form of unmeasured “energy”. EM practitioners send an invisible intention that can be viewed as directing energy that precedes the finest physical matter imaginable of quantum physics. It works much in the same way radio frequencies can be sent and then received by a radio receiver to translate into music. It also works similar to resonance, the explanation of how sound waves of one plucked guitar standing several feet away from a second guitar, can make the same note vibrate from the second guitar, without anyone touching that second guitar.

Mission Statement

My entire life has directed me toward the healing work that cured my family of lyme disease when I was 40 and my daughters were 9 and 11 years old. I have vowed since that time to help give other people their lives back, the way our lives were given back to us. My practice exists to support people with chronic, conventionally difficult-to-treat diseases such as “Lyme” disease, MSIDS (Multi Systemic Infectious Disease Syndrome, the new name for “chronic lyme” disease, including but not-limited-to tick-borne illness), fibromyalgia, MS, ALS, RA, autism and spectrum disorders, early-onset dementia, Crohn’s disease, IBS, lupus, autoimmune diseases, chemical and food allergies and sensitivities, Parkinson’s, cancer, HIV/AIDS, genetic mutations, and the list goes on… I work with people of all ages. In addition to acupuncture, I am dedicated to practicing EM, Eminus, the traditional Chinese acupuncture and qi gong-based energy work that returned my family to health in 2012. My goal is to support total wellness and help people obtain their goals of health.
